Today I started my new role as chief marketing officer at The Drum. Some details of the move are covered in this story.
But, while Media Quake the consultancy will be closing its doors for a good while, Media Quake the blog will continue – I hope and plan to share continuing news and muse on the digital industry here. Indeed, one of the major pulls of heading to The Drum was to get back to a place where you get to see the whole pattern of what’s going on in the media industry, not just one particular thread. It’s a privileged position I remember with fondness from Revolution days and great to be back in something like a similar spot.
